Need a little help.. I downloaded a program called boycott advance, its a gameboy advance emulator. I need a program called SDL-Test that is supposed to be included with the package, but it is not. The program gives me the keycodes for each key press, and i need those codes to setup my keyboard to function as a controller.
Can someone help me in locating the correct application to do this? Maybe i already have it installed, but dont know how to run it?
I think you require some SDL RPM's. Make sure you have SDL, SDL-devel installed. Others you might require are SDL_mixer and maybe SDL_gfx. However I would recommend reading the instructions on the application you are installing.
Are you installing by compiling source (configure, make) or by RPM?
the application came as a tarball.. I unpacked the tarball, expecting to have to compile, but it just contains the executable and some docs that state the sdl_test should be with it.. But it is not.. I have all the SDL apps included with Suse 10 installed.
