Just wanted to say how much I Love SaMBa.
It can do so much for a business and it is awesome how it emulates NT4

I do have a non SaMBa related question if anyone knows:
Does anyone know how to display the users ip address, domain and such on the webpage to every user who visits the site?

Is the web server on the same machine as the Samba server? If so you could probably do some tricky stuff to parse some samba files in /var to get output based on the clients IP address (could grab that from HTTP headers).

Short answer, probably not easily. Long answer, probably yes.

the web server is at home.
I tryed to do it with some java script but failed misserably.
I do have samba running on this server at home so it is not the same one I was speaking of.
I would really think this would be a nice addition to my site, just have to figure out how to get their.
