rsync

I am trying to synchronize two folders on the network, and this what i am doing

rsync -ax --exclude fstab --delete -r /home/user1/project user1@192.168.100.21:home/user2/dump

I think probably I am doing something wrong as it doesnt syncronize the folders.

thanks

First off, the second path would be (usually) /home/user1/home/user2/dump. I don't know if this is intended, a typo, or a problem. Secondly, try adding -v to your flags and see what messages you get. Thirdly: are an errors given? Does it silently exit without having done anything?
