Question RPMs Query

Having read several forums APT4RPm stood out as a way to update Red Hat. I was wondering what's the difference between APT4RM and FreshRPMs APT found at freshrpms.net/apt/

Also what's the best way to secure or update my Red Hat distribution?

The apt for RedHat was originally created at APT4RPM. FreshRPMs has been a repository of RPMs for years. From there, it's kind of like the old Reese's Peanut Butter Cups commercial. FreshRPMs supplies an apt package with their repository already in the sources.list. You can do the same thing by installing any apt package, then editing the sources.list.

I usually refer people to ayo.freshrpms.net, just because they have such a large repo of packages.

ayo.f-.n- also has yum, which is another way to do the same thing as apt.
