How do I remove items from Most Used Applications? The Menu editor edits the Applications, but apparently not the top part, the Most Used ones. In particular, I successfully removed the card games from "Games," but they remained at the top since I played a game.
Thanks, guys, that works - sort of. I would like to keep the list while removing one item from it. Something like in Win XP (I know I shouldn't) "Remove from this list." I just want to purge that card game! Vlad
Not sure which version of KDE you're using ... I'm running 3.5, which is the latest, and I can't remember whether previous versions did it the same way.
But this is how to do it in 3.5:
Go to the control center.
Select "Security & Privacy" menu.
Select "Privacy" option.
This takes you to a page with a list of options with checkboxes:
The top option in the list is "Quick Start Menu"; this is the one you want...
So unselect all the others, and hit the Clean Up button, and your recently used list should disappear.
