Removed linux partitions, now won't boot to windows!
Hello,
I had SuSE installed on my computer, i just deleted the linux partitions and now my computer wont boot. It just hangs when "GRUB" is displayed...how do i get grub off, and boot normally into windows!?
Okay i've instered my Win XP disk and entered the Recovery Console to fix the MBR...but it keeps asking for the Admin password, i keep entering it but it won't budge. I've tried all the bootable floppies that can write over it, but (they're all linux) i always get the error "VFS: Insert Root Floppy" and i'm 100% positive i'm creating the floppies correctly.
Does anybody know if the XP admin account has a back door pw?
I know it sound a rude way, but try to install windowze again....boot with windows CD and reinstall it. Maybe this will help.
I'm really astonished about that bad command on fdisk....
