damn it appears i cant just install LILO from the slackware disks...i'm reverting to what phase9 noted about the DOS floppy so i can get into windows and see what i can do about the boot loader

okay the boot disks i'm making with XP aren't working to well so i downloaded one from bootdisk.com and it tells me "Incorrect DOS Version" f*ck windows -_- now i've got to try and find my dos version...

i'm going to try and reinstall suse some how...i don't quite know how though since i dont have any space left on the HD after slackware...this should be interesting...!?

w00t! got it...finally got one of the programs to re-write the admin pw to work, reset the MBR and now i've got to figure out how to install just LILO so i can boot into slackware
