Question Remote Windows Process Spawning from Linux

Hello Everyone!!!

I have used for quite a long time the WinNT/Win2K utilities from the sysinternals (www dot sysinternals dot com) web site...

With a program called psexec I can execute remote commands on any Win box...

My question is... Is there a way to do that from a Linux box??...

I switched my desktop to Linux and It would be really nice to be able to administer some servers I have, that way.

Thanks in advance.

well you'd do it properly really, run an ssh server on the remote box, ssh to it and go nuts.

I beleve you can also use programs like rexec which is probably more like what you want, but i'm guessing you're not used to being able to remotely login to terminals as a matter of course rather than as a novelty!

there's also VNC here... but you don't really want that going by your description.
