redhat-config-printer is missing?

Hi,

just installed RHat Enterprise 4 (update 4). I can see cups is installed and running.

Its about now that I would run "redhat-config-printer" but it aint there. Am I supposed to use an alternative to add printers or have I missed a step somewhere?

Thanks,

GReg

Yes, the tool name has changed, it is now system-config-printer. In fact what was redhat-config-<whatever> is now system-config-<whatever>

FYI: it would be a better idea to configure your printer(s) using the cups browser-based configuration; http://localhost:631

redhat-config-xxxxxx is for Red Hat 9. If you are using Red Hat EL 4
try typing system-config-printer.

For Red Hat EL 4 no more redhat-config-xxxxxx, use instead from shell issue the command system-config-xxxxxxx
