Angry RedHat 9.0 Toshiba laptop reboot freeze

The only gripe left with Linux on my laptop is having it rebooting nicely.

It currently shutdowns OK (powers off) but the reboot option on GDM and on the console (think it's the same) makes it freeze at "Restarting system". Can anyone tell me if this happens on your laptop? What config options on the kernel's apm menu do I need activated to make this work?!

Can anyone on a default RedHat 9.0 kernel tell what options are selected on the kernel configuration under "General Setup" ?

Thank you!
