quickest way to upgrade Gnome?

Anybody know the quickest way to upgrade to Gnome without compiling all the stuff one at a time? I am running Suse 8.2, and am too lazy to compile all the stuff to install gonme.

Any RPMs out?

There is a time delay between when a software package is released and when SuSE posts rpm packages for that software. So your choices are:

Install the version of Gnome on your SuSE 8.2 install disk.

Compile the latest version of Gnome.

Wait until SuSE creates rpm packages for the version of Gnome that you want.

Have you tried garnome? downloads and compiles all dependencies included.
