I take it you are using the deb from the ufraw pages?
Why not just:

sudo apt-get install ufraw

your missing package is:

libexiv: EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation library
... needed to process exif data from photos.

sudo apt-get install libexif2-2

Ok Thanks,

I,m assuming I need to do this in order.

1:sudo apt-get install ufraw

Then

2: sudo apt-get install libexif2-2

Do:

sudo apt-get install ufraw

apt-get will (should) realise that libexif2-2 is needed and install that too - along with any other missing packages. It will give you a list and ask if this is OK - read - if you have doubts - ask. There shouldn't be anything scary in there.

If you still get that error - then copy the entire output from apt-get to your reply.

Thanks,

Have installed successfully but Gimp and ufraw are two separate programs.
IE: When I editing a raw photo using
ufraw and then send it to Gimp I get an error.

Is there a way I can get gimp and ufraw linked?

Thanks
