Qmail and imap

I installed qmail and it is running with POP.

Imap is installed too, I see the qmail-smtpd in /var/qmail/bin.

I check POP account mail.mydomain.com. But cannot check email when
account is setup as IMAP.

What can cause this problem?

TH

What imap server do you have installed?

What type of mail storage are you using. If your using the qmail default (maildir) you are going to need to use courier imap as your imap server. If your using mbox then you can pretty much use whatever you want as the imap server.

I suppose you could use bincimap. I've never used it myself. Is courier-imap running? Is your computer listening on the IMAP or IMAP-SSL port? Are there any errors in the logs?
