Qmail

I'm having a bit of a problem getting my qmail to function correctly.. Maybe someone here can help.
Firstoff, before I made some changes the name of my system was blackbox (Annodized aluminum case).

From the qmail log:
@40000000429fb68326caee5c status: local 0/10 remote 0/20
@40000000429fb746291c4cb4 new msg 286451
@40000000429fb746291c7f7c info msg 286451: bytes 220 from <trbdk3@blackbox.blackbox> qp 19374 uid 1000
@40000000429fb7462a7d28bc starting delivery 5: msg 286451 to remote trbdk3@masmc.homelinux.net
@40000000429fb7462a7ee60c status: local 0/10 remote 1/20
@40000000429fb74930a0b13c delivery 5: deferral: Sorry,_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(#4.4.1)/
@40000000429fb74930a0ebd4 status: local 0/10 remote 0/20

The masmc.homelinux.net is the correct name for the server, and binds to a static IP address which the server is running on.

For some reason, I get an @blackbox.blackbox address. I'm not exactly sure why. Hostname -fqdn resolves to masmc.homelinux.net correctly, so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

check:

/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd/run to see if you've got something hard-coded there. it might reference var/qmail/control/me.

In fact, check the contents of all files in /var/qmail/control to see if there's anything fishy there. If something is wrong there, consider scripts to automatically update these files & restart qmail. At any rate, if you have to change anything, don't forget to restart qmail.

Hopefully this'll get you pointed in the right direction.
