Python(abi) not recognised as being installed.

I'm trying to install python-paramiko as a dependency but get the following when I try to install the RPM:

python(abi) = 2.6 is needed by python-paramiko-1.7.4-5.1.i586
python(abi) is provided by python-base and python-base 2.6 is already installed (even YaST2 can find it)-what's going on here?

Try grabbing the latest version, the dependencies are listed as:

Quote:
BuildRequires: python-devel >= 2.2
Requires: python-crypto
Also I'm assuming you are using the correct arch ?
