Question

Hi, folks!
I have a Promise Ultra 66 in my system, and all HD's are controlled by that card. In the IDE controllers I put my two CDROM and a Atapi ZIP drive. The problem is: the installer don't recognize any bootable device, seems that Linux can't see the Promise card, and the installation stops. Could someone help me?

Question Promise Ultra 66

Thanks, Nedo! I've installed Mandrake 7.1 and the installation run, finally. The NEW problem is... I can't boot linux without a boot diskette... Weird, donīt you think? Oh, it's important( maybe it's the cause): I'm using System Commander in my computer, and the SC recommend to use the superblock choice, and do not use the MBR choice, to mount root. What is this? I don't know when I made that kind of choices, I even can't remenber if I did it. I'm sorry to say, but I'm a newbie AND a dummie.
Uh, a little problem: my USB mouse don't work, also...
