Question Problems with ACID and PHP 5.0.0

Hello All,

I am trying to install ACID with PHP 5.0.0. After trying to open the acid.php file I get the following error:

PHP ERROR: Incompatible version: Version 5.0.0 of PHP is too old. Please upgrade to version 4.04 or later.

Strange. I found something in the acid_db_common.php on line 67 that checks the version but I dont know exactly what to edit and change. Anyone have any experience with this? I tried using google but could not find anything relevant. Thanks!!!

Please i desparately need help. Did ever get a solution to this problem.
PHP ERROR: Incompatible version: Version 5.0.0 of PHP is too old. Please upgrade to version 4.04 or later.

I have installed RedHat EL 3 and
APACHE 2.0.46
ACID 0.9.63b
SNORT 2.1.3
MYSQL 4.0
PHP 5.0
and athe required prerequisites. Every thing installed very smoothly and no errors at all. Mysql, snort & apache are running fine Except when i tried using ACID it gave me the above error. When i installed Aanval it worked great no problem at whic indicates that ACID has a bug or logic issues. Any solution please
