Problems installing BlackBox

Hi!

I'm having problems installing blackbox onto my system, I've installed a gcc/c++ comiler thing, but BlackBox's ./configure script says it cannot compile executables. It does say the libs are present...

Is there a workaround?

any help would be greatly apreciated by a Linux noooob...

I'm using Slackware 10.0 (zipslack to be correct) kernel 2.4.26

Solved the problem, I uninstalled make-****.tgz from my system...

New problem: How do I get X to work with blackbox? I guess I need some comando, but couldn't find that much info about it...
