problem with Red Hat 8 man page

After installing Red Hat 8, I can log in via Terminal and use man command to see the content of manual fine; however, when I use telnet or ssh to log in, when I use man command it gave me a weird, unreadable characters. Do you know what happened?

Thank you.

Has to do w/ the language settings. I found this fix at:
https://listman.redhat.com/pipermail...er/156456.html
