I'm working with Red Hat 9 about 1 year. A week ago a window was popping up asking me to visit GNOMEs program crash page for more information. But there I got BUGZILLA and was completely lost. Somehow I came to GNOME and subscribed there, worte several letters but didn't got an answer.
Anyhow - the problem is that the panel is not coming up so I have to go through the back door (START HERE). I don't have an idea what's wrong. Wether it is a technical problem, an update problem, a bug or virus or worm.
What can I do?

I think redhat 9 support has been dropped. This may be the reason for not answering your questions.
Does this happen to all the users? What about root?

Yes, this I know. But now it's about GNOME and there I can't find any crash page and
there is no way to ask questions. So they let you just in the cold.
