problem with printer, drakconf, urpmi

sys is 2ghz, 1g ram
MDK 10.1
Epson CX5400

My printer stopped working.
Tried to go into 'drakconf' to figure it out.
'drakconf' gets a 'segmentation fault' error.
[root@localhost don]# drakconf
Segmentation fault

Tried to uninstalled 'drakconf' then reinstall.
[root@localhost don]# urpme drakconf
Can't locate URPM.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/urpm.pm line 16.

Compilation failed in require at /usr/sbin/urpme line 24.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/urpme line 24.

I was hoping uninstalling 'drakconf' then reinstalling it would solve the problem.
so I could find out why the printer quit working.

Any Ideas where to start to solve this?

Setup urpmi sources for your version on Mandriva, using the instructions at easyurpmi. You need the main, contrib, updates and plf repositories. Once thats done, do
Code:
#urpmi.update -a
#urpmi --auto-select
That should install newer versions of drakconf and a fix for the perl thing.
