Hey
I use Network-Manager, and the nm-applet to connect to wireless networks (even WPA protected ones). At the university, I have to use VPN for cisco servers, so I can connect by doing the following, and everything is good.
Code:
sudo vpnc UniversityProfile
I decided I needed a GUI because the university kicks me off every 10 minutes. So I got the network-manager-vpnc plugin, I manage to connect to the VPN, but when i try to browse the internet, I get the university page telling me to connect to the VPN. I realized, there's a routing table difference between doing "vpnc UniversityProfile" in the terminal, and using the network-manager-vpnc plugin.
Code:
vpnc routing table:
--------------------------
172.16.32.6 dev eth1 scope link src 172.16.45.182 mtu 1500 advmss 1460 hoplimit 64
172.16.32.0/20 dev eth1 proto kernel scope link src 172.16.45.182
default dev tun0 scope link
network-manager-vpnc
--------------------------------
172.16.32.6 via 172.16.32.1 dev eth1
172.16.32.0/20 dev eth1 proto kernel scope link src 172.16.45.182
default dev tun0 scope link
So the vpnc routing table works, but the network-manager-vpnc doesn't. How would I go about fixing the network-manager-vpnc plugin?
Thanks for your time,
