prblm in giving passwd to user


hiiiiii all

i m using RHEL 5 Server, facing problem in givin passwd to user. the error

tht passwd cmnd shows goes like this..........

$ passwd newuser

Changing password for user newuser.
New UNIX password:
/usr/share/cracklib/pw_dict: error reading header
PWOpen: Success
$
not able to undrstnd this plz hlp

First of all I suggest you learn to spell ... that post is
almost offensively ugly.

Secondly ... find out which RPM holds the file pw_dict and
re-install it. The file seems to exist but must be broken
in some way.
rpm -qf /usr/share/cracklib/pw_dict
