postgresql headers


I got the postgresql developement package in rpm format downloaded and ran the rpm, it left me with quite a few files in my directory, however i don't know what to do next can any one help me

Next you need to finish the installation process which basically involves setting up a default user (postgres) and several configuration files. Go to:

to see how to do this. Make note! Your installation directory is not neccesarily the one in these instructions. Redhat version of postgres installs in a different directory than the stock version.
