Hey, I have a CentOS server running webmin and virtual min. I host a couple of websites and email accounts on there for personal reasons and it's more of a lab environment than anything else. However, I am having some issues with my emails, but mostly when someone is replying back to me.
This is what I am seeing in the maillog:
Code:
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtpd[30639]: disconnect from mail-oa0-f42.google.com[209.85.219.42]
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtpd[30639]: connect from unknown[192.168.55.254]
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtp[30645]: warning: host cable.virginmedia.com[86.x.x.x]:25 greeted me with my own hostname denon.x.com
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtp[30645]: warning: host cable.virginmedia.com[86.x.x.x]:25 replied to HELO/EHLO with my own hostname denon.x.com
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtp[30645]: B41CB2E13C3: to=<postmaster@cable.virginmedia.com>, orig_to=<postmaster>, relay=cable.virginmedia.com[86.x.x.x]:25, delay=0.06, delays=0.05/0.01/0/0, dsn=5.4.6, status=bounced (mail for cable.virginmedia.com loops back to myself)
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/smtpd[30639]: disconnect from unknown[192.168.55.254]
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/bounce[30647]: warning: B41CB2E13C3: undeliverable postmaster notification discarded
Aug 12 21:39:38 denon postfix/qmgr[17610]: B41CB2E13C3: removed
192.168.55.254 is my firewall. Maybe it is doing some smtp filtering perhaps?
