Exclamation Polipo repeatedly asking for the proxy username and password

I have configured Polipo to use a parent proxy as using the following variables as:

Code:
parentProxy = SomeAddress:port
parentAuthCredentials = "myuser:mypassw"
And I have set to allow all ports as

Code:
tunnelAllowedPorts = 1-65535
But when I use this proxy for the https connection Firefox repeatedly asks for the username and password on the parent proxy. How do I solve this.
