Point of Sale
I run a couple of coffee shops and Cafes and I'm looking to upgrade my current point of sale systems. I'm not happy with the performance of windows. So I'm looking for linux alternatives for both front of house and back office functionality. I need strong reports, time clock, different levels and customizable security. (I actually looked at one product that the security menu was not password protected at all so anyone could walk up and add a new user or change their access) Most importantly it needs to function properly and with little training. some software looks like it was written by somebody who had never touched a cash register in their life, the total key was the smallest on the screen and once total was hit nothing could be added, I can't tell you how many people add items after you press the total key it would be an absolute mess, because it had no void functionality.
If anyone could help. That would be awesome.
I would strongly prefer something that could be demoed because this is a significant investment for my business, and impacts all of my customers.
