playing "yuvs" video. (Quicktime?)

Hya,

Does anybody know how to play "yvus" video?

One of the video files, which can be seen on Macintosh, does not play on penguin.

ffmpeg says unknown format. cinelerra chokes saying
Code:
new_vcodec: couldn't find codec for "yuvs"
Web search yields some pages under developer.apple.com, however for some reason these are not available.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Happy Penguins!

If VLC, mplayer or Totem won't play it, then I'm not sure what will..

Hya,

I traced (if I am correct) that loader/qtx/qtxsdk/component.h is related to yuvs.

However, current mplayer goes without trouble. LOL

Happy Penguins!
