Question Oracle On Linux 2.4.19


Hi. I have Linux 2.4.19-4GB. I am trying to install oracle 9i database server on , can I? If yes how to unzip the oracle s/w.

What did you download?
If the file is a .tar.gz, then you'd unzip it with tar xzvf
If it is .zip, you'd use unzip
If it is .tar.bz2 you'd use tar xjvf
