openSSL problem

hello

i tryed to compile several programs which use SSL, but i always get the following error message:

/usr/local/ssl/lib//libssl.a(ssl_cert.o): In function `ssl_verify_cert_chain':
ssl_cert.o(.text+0x47b): undefined reference to `X509_STORE_CTX_set_verify_cb'

i already rebuilt the openSSL package, but the problem remains.

any ideas?

thanks

I suggest to remove the ssl package you have now and then compile the new one. Parts of old ones may be still in your system.
