j1alu Member Registered: Apr 2009 Distribution: debian gnu/linux Posts: 798 Rep:	NXmashine shadow-session / graphical output is bad i connect remotely from my PC (debian-sid) to my old laptop (debian-lenny) with NXmashine. Both are inside of the lan. if i use a custom session it works very well: http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/5...0311235007.png but when i do shadow the graphis is useless: http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/1...0311235944.png as the laptop is very old i need to use the (old) etch-graphics-driver etc for it: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Motion, Inc. SM720 Lynx3DM (rev b1) xserver-xorg-video-siliconmotion: Installed: 1:1.4.1-4 if i use a newer driver (from lennny) i get a graphic which looks like in the second-screenshot. is there a way to solve the issue? btw: has someone got a link about how-to connect to windows from linux with NXmashine? thanks Last edited by j1alu; 03-11-2010 at 05:14 PM.
