Noob baffled - Torsmo Configuration

Went to configure torsmo and it said I didnt have X

Which baffled me because I was in WM and figured that ran on X...

Have I completely missed something here?

Mandrake 10.1
P2 333
320 RAM
8MB Video

I also trying conky but apparently there are a bucnh of dependancies I am missing and it seems that torsmo only ran on Xlib.

When it said you didnt have X ... what was the exact message? Perhaps your X libraries or other X related files are in a nonstandard path.
