Need to reset after power on everytime
Hi There
I'm having a little trouble booting my machine .
When I power om my maching everything goes fine , I get the grub bootloader an then my dual boot menu , I choose Fedora en my kernel a 2.4 which comes whith Fedora 1, loads normally , then it comes , after the module dependancy check and checking my file system I get a Oops kernel error , and my system freezes . with something like:
<0> Kernel panic : Aiee , killing interrupt handler ! In interrupt handler , not syncing
or the systems freezes after the following message :
New usb device 00007.222, assigned adress 4
usb.c Usb device 4 (vend/prod 0x77b/0x2219) is not claimed by any active driver
Well, I know that the vend/prod stuff is my Linksys usb wiresless network adapter atmel chipset version 2.6 ... but here comes the troubling part ..
After either of these messages my machine freezes , and when I press the reset button and choose again for Fedora , my machine works perfectly and even the wireless network works fine ,
so , my question , can anybody help me so that i wont have to reset my machine at every first power on ... would save my alot of time ! :-(
