Question need Bios driver to exec custom on board bios code

Have a Pentium board that has BIOS code built in for boot logging and recording POST errors. Need to execute that BIOS code during Linux operation to retrieve data. The BIOS code executes in Real mode which is the issue.

Have done some searching and found material from 1997 and 2000 but links are stale and it seems out of date.

My guess is that this real mode BIOS work is done in a few places (as in pnp) but I am hoping there is a driver or kernel module that simplifies the task.

Thanks,
Bill Main
