Nead your help in installing Mplayer + Mencoder.......

Dear All,
im using FC4 machine for web development purpose, today i got a request to install these packages on our FC4

• GD Library 2 or higher
• Mplayer + Mencoder
• Flv2tool
• Libogg + Libvorbis
• LAME MP3 Encoder

i will be very thankfull to you if u help me in installing those packages.

You can install packages from the Fedora Legacy project, even if it is not mantained anymore. You can manually download packages from one of their mirror or you can setup yum repositories as explained in the download page.

Anyway, I strongly suggest to upgrade to a more recent version of Fedora, if possible. Fedora 9 will be released in 14 days.

Hi, raqib.

Fedora is a fast changing distro and Fedora 4 is no longer officially supported. I suggest you try something like CentOS which is supported for longer periods. Also please do not mark threads as "urgent", its something thats frowned upon on most forums where help is provided for free by volunteers.
