N-Force 2 mobo

I have built a shuttle SGN45 with a N-Foce 2 mobo, then installed Fedora on it only to find that it does not support N-Force 2 with drivers and the LAN is onboard so I cannot connect to the internet.
Can anybody tell me of a distro that has drivers on the install for a nforce 2 mobo.

Just upgrade to kernel 2.6.3 or later and the network interface is supported through the "forcedeth" module. Sound on the nForce2 is supported through the Alsa snd-intel8x0 module.

kernel

How do you go about updating the kernel and where do I find the download, because the Nvidia drivers keep showing errors.
