mysql dual core


hi,

can any newer version of mysql handle queries on a dual core? (i'm running a dual core now and it only uses half my processor when running.)

Of course, assuming your in an environment that's using threading properly. You can adjust the thread_concurrency variable in my.ini or my.cnf depending if you are using windows or linux. the rule is if you have 2 cores then you would set the value to 4 or (n*2) n being the number of cpu's.
