mysql 3 or 5 problem


hi all
i tried to run a simple page.it use mysql 3.but i had to change it into mysql 5.now some of my query ddon't work correctly.it's about concat.it gives me this error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near

i searched a lot about it but didn't find any thing.can any body help me?
