my grip dont rip :( !

hello again,, and once again.. GREAT forum.

as you can probably see from the subject, im having trouble ripping CD's with grip.

when i select some tracks to rip, and hit rip and code, or just rip, nothing happens, at all.

is this likely to be anouther dissabled function in my redhat 9 ?? i noticed the so called mp3 codec shipped with my cd's didnt actually decode mp3's just display a message about copyright,, andway, i replaced the codec, so i have a fully working mp3 codec.

any idea's any1 ??

thanX

Well if you installed the mp3 codec after installing grip, you probably need to recompile grip so it detects this.

Open a terminal, and start grip from it - type in grip. See what error messages you are getting.

Just curious, have you tried it as root? I couldn't rip as my user only as root at first.
