"mplayer -input file=myfile" doesn't work.

myfile exists.

And mplayer -input keylist works.

Why doesn't the file="..." option work? This verbatim from the documentation. I get the same thing you get if you just type "mplayer" (the basic help).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Which documentation are you using?

The manpages that came with 1.0rc2, the online documentation and the -v option (ok, only -playlist <file> is shown) all mention mplayer -input keylist, no equal sign.
