Question mouse is not detected in Red Hat 7.1


I am a Linux beginning and encounter a problem when upgrading the REDHAT linux from 6.2 to 7.1 : The mouse was not detected in the installation page of 7.1 , but it works properly in 6.2.
I am totally confused , can somebody tell me what to do in detail ?
