Minimum packages

What is the minimum packages installed if I only wanted these to run:
1. KDE
2. SDL & all of its other libraries
3. Minicom (for serial modem hyperterminal)
4. CUPS
5. KDevelop
6. GCC & G++
7. Open Office
8. Simple text editor like Vim / Kwrite

Currently I'm installing the default build from SuSE 10.0 (with all those packages that I don't know if I need them or not). And I'm developing a simple game but with 1024x768, 32 bpp images. The game runs very slowly (because the machine itself is very low spec), so I think maybe if I only installed the essential packages along with their dependencies, I can make it run a bit faster.

Thanks in advance.

That's already running quite a bit. KDE itself is heavy. You might want to think about running fluxbox or another lightweight desktop to run your game, and just develope it from KDE. You don't have to uninstall anything.

Best of luck....
