My GF is trying to use WebQQ on her machine which now has Fuduntu newly installed on it. WebQQ actually works great, but she wants to do video chat which also works pretty great, except for one remaining hiccup, her microphone doesn't work with video chat, the video works fine both ways, but the other person can't hear her.
WebQQ uses flash, so I'm pretty sure that getting the microphone to work with Flash in Chromium in Fuduntu is what I want. At least I got the camera to work by adding a rule to allow flashplayer to use the camera without asking.
I checked that the microphone is working using the sound manager thing in Fuduntu. It responds to sounds at least, which I'm pretty sure means that it works. But Flash just doesn't get the sound from the microphone... right now this means that shes still switching back to Windows to talk to people, so this needs to be fixed.
