Fedora 9
Firefox 3
if I do:
[tony@tonycorp ~]$ yum info flash*
I get:
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Available Packages
Name : flash-plugin
Arch : i386
Version : 10.0.12.36
Release : release
Size : 3.8 M
Repo : adobe-linux-i386
Summary : Adobe Flash Player 10.0
URL :
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
License : Commercial
Description: Adobe Flash Plugin 10.0.12.36 Fully Supported: Mozilla SeaMonkey
: 1.0+, Firefox 1.5+, Mozilla 1.7.13+
but when I go to youtube the page always says:
'Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.'
Other websites also tell me I need the flash plugin.
I've checked firefox and javascript is turned on. If I redo the flash install I get:
'The package adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch is already installed'
yum info (above) shows I have the latest vesion.
does anyone know how I can get flash working?
