mc-like file manager with vi key bindings

Hi everyone,

There are so many threads on file managers that I kind of feel bad about starting the new one. But none of them seems to answer my question. So...I need a file manager that can move mountains with couple of keystrokes. Midnight Commander sounds perfect but it comes with set in stone Emacs-like key bindings, and I hate Emacs (sorry, I am not trying to pick up a fight, just being honest).

So my requirements are:
-just keyboards, no mouse
-ability to execute shell commands and shell like command completion
-vi key bindings
-ftp and/or ssh support

I looked into vifm , but the project seems still in the early stages, not that many features, no
ftp support, etc. I wish I had time to help those guys with development, but I don't.

I guess the perfect thing for me would be a hack of mc that changes emacs to vi key bindings, but I wasn't able to google up anything like that.

Thanks for your help.
