When I type e.g. man ncftp I get the following error:
Code:
Error executing formatting or display command.
System command /bin/bzip2 -c -d /usr/man/cat1/ncftp.1.bz2 | /usr/bin/less -is exited with status 256.
If I type /bin/bzip2 -c -d /usr/man/cat1/ncftp.1.bz2 alone, without /usr/bin/less -is, the man page opens, but just as text in terminal, i mean, I cannot scroll or do something i could do with that less, whatever it is. I think it all started after I had recompiled kernel. With the default Slack 10.0 kernel (2.4.26) everything was allright, so I think I missed something during the configuration of kernel. What could that be?
