Thumbs up Mail delivery: Host or domain name not found

Hi Everyone,

I have set up a mailer form my box. When i'm trying to send a mail to anyone i get the following error message in /var/mail/log

Apr 19 08:02:15 debian postfix/smtp[13363]: 891FBF0041: to=<tantanas@gmail.com>, relay=none, delay=87308, delays=87288/0.02/20/0, dsn=4.4.3, status=deferred (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=gmail.com type=MX: Host not found, try again)

I have the NIS, DNS server running on the box. Forward and reverse DNS is set up.

dig (nslookup) find the MX recors form the box OK. No problems with networking. (at least no obvious issues)

Most grateful if anyone could put me back on the track on this one.

Thanks in advance,
Antanas

It:

# See /usr/share/postfix/main.cf.dist for a commented, more complete version

smtpd_banner = $myhostname ESMTP $mail_name (Debian/GNU)
biff = no

# appending .domain is the MUA's job.
append_dot_mydomain = no

# Uncomment the next line to generate "delayed mail" warnings
#delay_warning_time = 4h

myhostname = debian.antanas.org
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
myorigin = /etc/mailname
mydestination = mail.antanas.org, debian.antanas.org, localhost.antanas.org, localhost
relayhost =
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8
mailbox_command = procmail -a "$EXTENSION"
mailbox_size_limit = 0
recipient_delimiter = +
inet_interfaces = all

smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtpd_sasl_local_domain = antanas.org
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks,permit_sasl_authenticated,reject_unauth_destination
smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous

I have not done any changes here from the default. Just ran the wizard at the setup.
