The first one on the list is an .iso file so wont work
Why won't it work??? You download the ISO and burn it to DVD or a USB stick. Same exact thing you did with Mint.
Quote:
the second one has no download link
Wrong; top of the page says "Download"...did you try CLICKING it??? Then it gives you the options for what you want to download...can't be more simple and plain than that.
Quote:
the 3rd same as the first is iso
And again, what's the problem???

So after the first 3 I have given up with that link anymore
Every single one listed is easily downloaded and has specs listed. Mint comes as an ISO image, so repeatedly saying "It's an ISO, so I can't use it" makes zero sense.
I can not see any instructions from the link regarding converting ISO and I do not remember transfering my mint distro from iso. But since as all of the files are ISO and I have no software what so ever to convert; I may as well forget it!

Sounds great, thanks.
You are, AGAIN, showing zero effort. EVERY SINGLE DISTRO has complete installation instructions on their website, including how to deal with ISO images, lists of tools/utilities for burning the ISO images, etc. Even odder since you claim to have Mint ALREADY INSTALLED, and the only way you could have done that was by downloading and using an ISO image.
You seem to be expecting us to:
Read your mind for your machine specifications.
Research EVERY distro to find one that fits YOUR needs
Look up a link for you
Write up explicit instructions on how to click the download link
Write up explicit instructions on what to DO with the file(s) you download
Write up explicit instructions on how you should INSTALL the distro
At what point are you going to to ANYTHING for yourself? You were told in February to use Mint mate or xfce. You were even handed a link to that very thing, which still works. Options for Cinnamon, Mate, and XFCE, and 32 or 64 bit images for all of them. One click downloads it.
If you can't manage to click a link or be bothered to read simple instructions on how to use an ISO image for installation (which is AGAIN listed on the website), there is nothing else anyone here can do for you. Use Windows, please.

Again, did you bother to look??? From the Mint download site you were handed in February, there is a "Read the documentation" link.
Amazingly, clicking it brings up the documentation, and you can pick which language. Choosing English for example, brings up a page where the first three links are:
Choose the right edition
Verify your ISO image
Create the bootable media
All with pictures; all with instructions for Linux, Windows, and Mac. What more, exactly, do you need???
