Question Looking for an iTunes linux replacement


I use iTunes on my windows and mac boxes... what is a good similar app for linux?

I need something that will import from CD's to back up my collection... vlc will not do that...

Actually, I was amazed to find any application that handled itunes. Apple and Windows OS's mean that Apple and Microsoft are in control of what you listen to and what, and when with the proprietary format. root can do whatever it wants, whenever it wants, and therefore Apple loses control if it allows use on Linux. Keep Windows around to dual boot, and see what the fallout is from the 'unathorized decode' overseas.
