itunes on linux
i couldn't resist trying to install itunes with crossover office (mandrake 10.1). it actually installed without a glitch and i was able to add songs to the library without any hassles but when it came to actually playing music it just froze. has anyone actually got it to work?
is there an itunes version for linux? i am trying to setup a ipod shuffle but i just cant mount it as a mass storage or anything like that... i hate proprietary solutions!
I've had it running and playing with cxoffice, I was using the v4-alpha though, haven't upgraded to proper v4 yet because I don't really use it anymore, Cedega for HL2 and that's it.
Didn't need any extra config though, just installed and played.
I've just been reading the new issue of Linux Format and it says the newest version of Crosover Office fixes any glitches in the previuos version that caused problems with itunes.
